GASP – short for Goring Art Space Collective – are a collection of forward thinking artists based in and around the Goring GAP on the Oxfordshire/ Berkshire border.
Our goal, is to create a space and importantly a community for artists to thrive, showcase their work, create workshops, get more work and collectively help bring forward thinking, innovative and inspiration art to the people who live, work and come to our villages for leisure. Art makes the world a better place. It helps us, and our young people think conceptively, and question, reflect and engage with the world around us.
Much of our focus, is less traditional and more on forward thinking ways for people to interact with the art, but we are a community with our arms open wide to work and collaborate! Please do get in touch.
As well as bringing together similar artists, our purpose is to find new places (both physical and digital or extended reality) to showcase art. We will be devising and hosting exhibitions, and our goal is finding new places to do this around the area.
No place is too small, nor off the table. If you have somewhere that is not of use, please do let us know, we would love to work with you.
